AD SERVER ENGINEER (Redwood City, California)

Cox Comet LLC, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises is a digital media services company who hiring server engineers to develop and expand on our cutting-edge, scalable and high performance architecture. Responsibilities

  • Work on our real-time, high performance & high availability Ad delivery system.
  • Architect and develop low latency applications that handle large amounts of web traffic, produce and consume large amounts of data in real-time.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to gather requirements, work on specifications and then translate these into working code.


Qualifications

PRODUCT MANAGER (Redwood City, California)

As Product Manager at COMETyou will assist in the creation and communication of the COMET product roadmap. You will gather, document and prioritize requirements from both internal and external customers. The products you will manage will range from internal facing order management tools to programmatic ad serving platforms. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, and Business Development) as well as technical teams (Engineering, QA, and Tech Ops). This position will also serve as backup for other product functions, such as internal/external customer service support, client integrations, process improvement, etc. This role will be central in the execution of COMET’s business strategy. Experience in the online advertising industry is highly recommended and a technical background is not required but strongly desired.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and maintain product roadmap
  • Identify project dependencies and blockers
  • Gather detailed requirements and document user stories
  • Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations
  • Participate in discussions with COMET partners

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the online advertising industry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in either product management, project management or engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical background is strongly desired
  • Experience in an Agile product development cycle is preferred

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING (Redwood City, California)

We are looking for a hands-on director level person to lead our Ad-Server team. The person is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative and passionate about the product. DATA SCIENTIST (Redwood City, California)

The Analytics team builds end-to-end solutions including models, data pipelines, large-scale index data structures, software services and large-scale data visualizations. To be successful in this role, you will have a deep passion for building data-driven products, ability to communicate product vision and have demonstrated the experience in leading and executing complex projects. Responsibilities

  • Lead data science/analytics initiatives and a group of Data Sciences Engineers to deliver solutions to a variety of problems ranging from forecasting to yield optimization to performance diagnosis
  • Develop solid data ETL pipeline and build OLAP/Dashboards for internal customers
  • Manage and mentor a group of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts
  • Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling on huge data sets
